Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Pernell Lloyd Tewangiotewa, and there's something that's always caught my eye: the fact that his car was found burned in Choke Cherry Canyon. I've read that this kind of arson is often used to destroy evidence, but it seems odd that the car was found just five miles from Farmington. It makes me wonder if whoever wanted the car gone was local and just wanted to get it out of the immediate area quickly. Also, Choke Cherry Canyon isn't exactly the first place you'd think of to dispose of a car discreetly. Could it have been meant as a message, or was it just convenience? I'm curious if anyone familiar with the area has thoughts on this or any similar cases where arson was used.
Looking forward to hearing your perspectives.
Thanks!
Has anyone else been looking into the car arson part of Pernell Lloyd Tewangiotewa's disappearance? The fact that his sister's 1988 Pontiac Subaru station wagon was found burned in Choke Cherry Canyon really stands out to me. I wonder if the person responsible tried to destroy evidence, or if it was meant as a message of some kind. It’s interesting that it took three weeks for authorities to find the car. Choke Cherry Canyon isn’t exactly a bustling area, but five miles from Farmington isn’t that far. How did no one see or hear anything before then? Also, does anyone know if they found any other clues at the site? Sometimes little details at the scene of a fire can be crucial. It’s frustrating that arson often makes things so much harder to decipher. The car being burned seems like a deliberate act to complicate things—hoping someone with more fire investigation knowledge can shed some light!
