Pernell Lloyd Tewangiotewa, a 21-year-old Native American man, was last seen on May 29, 1998, in Farmington, New Mexico. On the night of his disappearance, he was at Gator's Bar & Grill with his sister and friends. He left the bar driving his sister's 1988 Pontiac Subaru station wagon, but he never arrived home in Bloomfield, where he and his sister lived. Witnesses last saw him leaving Gator’s parking lot at 1:30 a.m., heading east on Main Street.
