I’ve been following Robert Michael Bobo’s disappearance, and I keep going back to the detail about his black cap. It seems so significant. According to his family, Robert wouldn't be caught without it, especially knowing how much he cherished that hat. Do you think there's a chance someone who knew him was involved, and left it behind on purpose as a decoy? It just seems odd for him to vanish and leave behind his most personal belongings. The lack of evidence of foul play is perplexing, but maybe it's something more subtle that we’re overlooking. Does anyone else think someone close might have known more about his routine out there?
Robert Michael Bobo's case really puzzles me, especially the part about his favorite black cap being left behind. I've been thinking about his time in the Rogue River–Siskiyou National Forest and what it might mean for him to leave such a personal item. For someone who was known to always wear a cap due to his receding hairline, it seems odd that he'd go off without it. It makes you wonder if he intended to head back quickly or if something unexpected happened right after he left the campsite. Did anyone else find it strange that his two rifles were left untouched as well? It's like he had every intention of coming back right away. I also wonder if anyone in the area might have seen something unusual around the time he disappeared, given it was just before hunting season started. This part of the case feels like it holds a key piece of the puzzle. Any locals have insights on typical search patterns or challenges faced in that specific terrain?
Does anyone have more information about the locations around Woodruff Meadows where Robert Bobo might have explored? I've been reading about the area and it's dense with trails, but it seems like he knew his way around pretty well. If he was intending to scout for game, maybe there were certain spots he'd frequently visit? The fact that all his stuff was left at the campsite is puzzling. Also, has there been any talk about other people camping or hunting nearby around the time he disappeared? Maybe someone saw or heard something anyone else missed. Just trying to put some pieces together that might have been overlooked.
