I remember reading about Shawn Davis and just felt such sadness for his family and friends. It's gut-wrenching to think about how Shawn's case is still unsolved after all these years. The fact that he was so young, with his entire future ahead of him, only makes it harder to understand. I can't help but wonder about those who were close to him—how they find any peace while the person responsible is still out there. It's just so frustrating to see a promising life cut short due to violence. Pittsburgh, like too many places, was struggling with keeping its youth safe back then. I really hope that one day, someone comes forward with what they know so that Shawn’s family can get the justice and closure they truly deserve.
