Has anyone else considered the location where Paula's car was found? Commerce Drive in Columbia seems like a strange place for her car to end up—burned, no less. It's close enough to urban Columbia but still feels kind of isolated, especially if you’re in a panic or trying to cover something up. I wonder if there's any significance to this spot or if anyone else has had any eerie encounters in that area? Maybe someone has something similar happen there around the same time? It feels like there must be a reason why this location was chosen. Anyone in the local area remember anything odd or suspicious happening back then? It’s been over 20 years, but maybe someone will suddenly remember seeing something and can finally give Paula's family answers.

It's chilling to think about Paula Merchant’s Nissan Sentra suddenly being found burned behind a vacant building like that. Why would someone go to all the trouble of burning the car but leave her purse and the keys right there? Seems like they wanted to destroy evidence, but didn't care about what was in the car, or maybe they were in a hurry? Also, that spot on Commerce Drive - does anyone know if it was a known hangout for sketchy activity back in '99? Wondering if Paula had any connections there. It's such a sad mystery, and incredibly frustrating that there are still no clear answers after all these years. Would love to hear any thoughts or theories; maybe there’s something we've missed that could push this case forward!

Has anyone else looked into the location where Paula's car was found? The fact that her car was torched and left behind a vacant building on Commerce Drive has me thinking. Was this area known for any specific activity back in 1999? I've read that abandoned spots like this might have been used for illegal dealings or dumpsites. I’m wondering if there's a chance someone witnessed something or if there are known routes that could lead to more information. It seems odd that the car would just be left there unless someone was familiar with the area. I wish there were more details about any security footage or nearby businesses that could’ve helped. Also, with Reinaldo "Ray" Rivera's ties to Columbia, I’m curious if this location has any connection to him as well. Maybe there's more to uncover by understanding why her car ended up at that particular spot.
