Just came across the case of Sharlton Deshazo-Best while reading about unsolved homicides in Philly. This one's deeply disturbing because it's yet another example of a young life taken too soon, and it makes me think about how many cases are left without justice. Queen Lane, where Sharlton was killed, seems to be a focal point for some really tragic events. I'm betting that there are people in the community who might know more than they've shared. For anyone reading, if you were in the area back in 2007 or have heard something, it's never too late to speak up. Every bit of information could be the key to bringing some peace to Sharlton’s loved ones. It's frustrating to see how fear and distrust can silence witnesses, but I continue to hope that someone will have the courage to step forward. To Sharlton's family and friends, my heart goes out to you, and I truly hope justice will be served someday.

Hey everyone, I've been reading a lot about the unsolved cases in Philly from 2007, and Sharlton Deshazo-Best's tragic story keeps sticking with me. I stumbled across an old mention that indicated Queen Lane, where he was killed, had issues with street lighting back then. I can't help but wonder if the poor lighting played a part in why no one has come forward with more information. Maybe it was too dark, and whoever was around just didn’t see enough to feel confident talking to the police? The lack of witnesses in Sharlton's case is disheartening. It's understandable why some residents might feel wary about getting involved, especially if they fear for their safety. But I'm hopeful that with any new technological advances or maybe anonymous tips, something might still come to light. If anyone knows of any initiatives in Philadelphia that have improved neighborhood safety or encouraged community cooperation since then, it might be useful to highlight their success. The more we talk about these lingering unsolved cases, the better chance we have of maybe jogging someone's memory. Sharlton and his family deserve that much. Love and strength to Sharlton’s loved ones. Let's keep our eyes open and keep pushing for some answers. Take care, everyone.
