Has anyone looked into the possibility that the muscle car Shannon was planning to check out might have been part of a setup? It's strange that he withdrew a significant amount of money that day, and it's not clear if anyone knows who this "friend" was or if that person has been identified. The red 1976 Chevrolet truck disappearing along with him raises even more suspicion. I wonder if anyone has found any other cases around Montana with similar circumstances during that time frame. Sometimes people might use the lure of a car sale as a way to get someone into a dangerous situation, especially if they know the person is bringing cash. It could be helpful to see if there are patterns or connections to other missing persons cases in the area from that era.
