Shannon Clair LaBau, 23, was last seen in Helena, Montana, on February 23, 1999. He told his mother he was going to Townsend with a friend to check out a muscle car he was considering buying. That morning, he withdrew several thousand dollars in cash for the purchase. Security footage captured him at a local bank around 9 a.m., and he was last seen in the 900 block of Kessler Street in Helena. He never returned home, leaving behind uncollected paychecks and money in his bank account.
