Has anyone else looked into the details of Leah's Jeep Cherokee crash site? I find it puzzling that while all her belongings were left behind, there didn't seem to be any obvious signs that she was injured or struggled to leave the scene. Did the investigators ever clarify whether there were footprints leading away from the Jeep? It's bizarre to think that she'd just vanish into thin air in such a remote location without at least leaving some sort of trail or sign. Plus, the fact that her cat was there makes me wonder if something startled her away from the vehicle or if she truly intended to come back. The whole situation leaves me with so many questions about what might have been going through her mind that day. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Just finished re-watching a documentary on Leah Roberts, and something about it really got me thinking about the scene at the crime: what might the presence of her cat in the abandoned Jeep signify? It's so odd to me. Leah was clearly someone who cared about her pet – you don't just leave a cat behind unless something unexpected happens. If Leah had vacated the vehicle voluntarily, would she really leave her cat behind like that?
Some people might say pets don't understand sudden changes in plans, but I feel like there's an untapped part of this story in analyzing how the cat's location relates to Leah's possible state of mind. Did she leave the vehicle thinking she would return shortly, or was she taken by surprise by whatever befell her? While intentions can be difficult to gauge, her cat's presence feels symbolic of an interrupted journey rather than a planned disappearance.
Anyone else have thoughts on this aspect? It just stands out to me as a small but possibly significant piece of the puzzle.
Has anyone else been intrigued by the placement of Leah's Jeep when it was found? It seems odd to me that it was discovered at the base of Mount Baker. If it just careened off the road, wouldn't there be more visible signs like skid marks or debris on the road itself? Plus, leaving behind cash and personal items, especially the cat, feels off. I can't help but wonder if someone else might have been involved and tried to stage the scene to make it look accidental. Anyone have thoughts or additional insights on this theory? It's puzzling how a vehicle ends up so remote yet shows little sign of how it got there in such a state.
