Hey everyone,
I've been digging through Shari Anderson's case, and something keeps nagging at me. Her cell phone was found in her locked 4Runner, right? It's 2000, so we're not talking about the kind of smartphones we have today, but even so, why would she leave her phone behind? As a social worker, she would've needed to stay connected. It just seems off to me.
Also, the gun being left behind raises questions. If she carried it for protection, why wasn't it with her if she felt she was in danger? It's like she expected to come back to the car—or never thought she'd need it at all that day. Could she have trusted whoever she went to meet? I feel like there might be something here that we're missing. Thoughts?
I’ve been following Shari Anderson’s case for a while now, and something that puzzles me is the locked car left at the mall. Given that her cell phone and the gun she carried for protection were inside, it seems like she wasn’t planning on leaving it there for long or was interrupted suddenly. The fact that there were no Christmas purchases in the car makes me wonder if she ever made it into the mall at all. It seems unlikely she did all her shopping and then left empty-handed. Was she approached before she even got inside, or was there someone she encountered in the parking lot? I keep thinking about that timeline—her car arriving, her last appearance on any security footage (if any exists), and exactly when the family realized something was seriously wrong. Has anyone heard about whether the police thoroughly checked mall security tapes for that day to see if they could track her movements? It’s like there’s this missing piece that might be right in front of us, just left unexplored or overlooked. Thoughts?
I was looking through some old newspaper archives about Shari Anderson's case and came across something intriguing. It was mentioned that there were reports of a suspicious person seen near the Everett Mall the day she disappeared. Apparently, a few witnesses saw a man loitering around the parking lot where Shari's car was found. The details were vague, and it seems like the police looked into it but nothing substantial came from it.
Does anyone know if these witness accounts were ever seriously pursued? It feels like this might be a piece of the puzzle that got overlooked or went cold, but maybe there's more to it that we just don't know. Also, after so long, could there be a chance some new witnesses might come forward if it were brought back into the public eye? It's been over two decades, and every little detail could be crucial. Just thinking that maybe someone, somewhere might remember something if they see this case mentioned again.
