Hey everyone, I was just reading about William Wilson's tragic case and it got me thinking about the community response back in 2008. I remember how people really started to come together in some parts of Philly, trying to tackle the surge of violence. I think William's murder not only fueled fear but also inspired some folks to finally say "enough is enough." It was a horrible year, but there were glimmers of hope with local organizations trying to make a difference amidst all the chaos. Does anyone have more info or memories of those community efforts back then? I'm curious to hear how effective they were or if there were any long-lasting changes in the neighborhood. My heart goes out to William's family and everyone affected by this ongoing issue. It's painful to see so many young lives lost to senseless violence.
