Hi everyone, I've been following the Jerald Gelb case closely for some time now, and I just can't shake a question that's been bugging me. Does anyone know if there's been any analysis or insight into the area where he was last seen? I'm particularly curious about any security footage or witnesses that might have been around at that time. I know it's a long shot since we're talking about 2001, and maybe technology wasn’t what it is today, but sometimes these small details can hold big answers. Also, were there any acquaintances or former colleagues who came forward with any info after he disappeared, especially given his background with IBM? Sometimes those connections can be telling. Would love to hear if anyone has more details or thoughts on this.
Has anyone else dug into Jerald Gelb's professional background? I find it interesting that he once worked for IBM and had a strong academic background in computer science. It seems like he had a solid career path before his mental health challenges might have derailed things. I wonder if anyone from his past, perhaps former colleagues, might have information that hasn't yet surfaced. Or maybe his skills resurfaced in very niche or techie groups? It just seems like someone with his knowledge might have left a trail, even if unintentionally, in tech circles. Thoughts?
Has anyone looked into Jerald Gelb's connections to any homeless shelters or communities in the area? Given the possibility that he might have been homeless, it seems plausible that he might have sought refuge or help from shelters around Brookline or even further out. Sometimes these places have regulars or staff who might remember seeing someone fitting his description around that time. Also, I wonder if there's been any effort to check nearby cities, considering the public transportation options. Stories like his linger, and it's so important to explore every angle, even if the trail has gone cold. Any insights or suggestions from folks who are familiar with how these networks operate?
