Has anyone else looked into the topography of the area where Edith Baker went missing? I find it curious how the KQ Ranch Resort is surrounded by a mix of rugged terrains and trails. Given her age and the heat that day, I wonder if she might have wandered onto a more challenging path. It’s not uncommon for people to get disoriented in unfamiliar wilderness. The single footprint found could suggest she ventured off a marked trail. Does anyone know if there are any unmarked paths nearby that aren't well-known to those unfamiliar with the area? It might have been easy for her to inadvertently stray onto one.

Has anyone else been following the Edith Verline Baker case? While I was reading about it, I started to wonder if there might be any key details overlooked regarding the hiking trails in that area near KQ Ranch Resort. Given how rugged the terrain can be, I’m curious if there are less-traveled paths or hidden areas someone unfamiliar with the area might accidentally wander into. Has anyone here spent time hiking around Julian? I’m trying to gather insights into trail conditions or particular challenges someone might face out there, especially since she didn't have water or necessary supplies with her. Any locals or experienced hikers who can share more about the dangers or intricacies of those trails? It's puzzling that such an extensive search only turned up a single footprint. Maybe there’s something about the landscape itself we’re missing.

I've been following Edith Verline Baker's case, and something that keeps bugging me is the single footprint they found near the campsite. Given that the search was so intense and thorough, it seems so odd that they'd only find one print and nothing else. It makes me wonder about the terrain she was walking on. Was it mostly rock, making it difficult to track more prints? Or could the wind and heat have obscured any remaining traces? I know tracking can be tough, especially if someone strays off the usual paths, but it's strange that even search dogs couldn't pick up more of a trail from that print. Anyone from the area have insights on the conditions around KQ Ranch Resort that might explain why they found so few traces?
