I came across something while looking into Arrieta's disappearance that I haven't seen talked about much yet. Has anyone else noticed the strange location where his car was found? The area around 18th Street and Washington Street seems like a busy spot, even at night. It's not exactly a place you'd go to just disappear or randomly ditch a car, right? I'm curious if anyone local to Phoenix can shed some light on whether this area had any significance back in 2001 or if there were any notable events or places nearby that could link to why his car ended up there. It just feels like a clue that seems too coincidental to be random. Could there be surveillance footage from around that time that was never investigated, or maybe someone who lived nearby might have noticed something unusual? Thoughts?
Does anyone else think it's odd that the car was found so far from where Arrieta was last seen? It's about eight miles between 21st Ave and Wilshire to 18th St and Washington. Why leave his car there specifically? I can't shake the feeling that it was intentionally placed to throw off the investigation. Also, was anyone able to confirm who last saw him leaving his home? Any new leads from witnesses or CCTV from that time might help piece things together. Please share if you have more details—his family's been waiting way too long for answers.
