Just stumbled across this case, and it's got me totally intrigued. What really caught my attention is the situation with their dog. It just seems so strange that Nelson and Russell would leave their pet without making any arrangements if they planned on being away for a bit. From everything I've read, they seemed responsible and thoughtful, which makes the whole thing feel even more out of character. I mean, could it be that they truly believed they would be back the same day? It makes me wonder if something unexpected happened while they were on their way or when they arrived. Anyone else have thoughts on how this detail rules out them just trying to start fresh somewhere else? Definitely one of those mysteries that doesn't seem to add up. ??

Hey everyone. So, I’ve been reading about Nelson and Russell’s case for a while now, and one thing that keeps gnawing at me is the checkbook found in the glove compartment of their truck. It’s odd, right? I mean, if you're planning to buy something as expensive as a 2002 Ducati, wouldn't you keep the checkbook on you rather than leave it behind in the car? ? Could it mean they were forced away from their truck without any chance to grab it? Maybe it's nothing, but it just feels like a small breadcrumb that's worth more attention. What do you all think? Could it be part of a larger picture we’re missing?

Hey everyone, I was digging into the details of the Nelson and Russell case, particularly the part about their dog. It really struck me how they left their dog unattended at their home. For anyone who has ever owned a pet, it just feels so off, right? It adds a layer of mystery, almost like a subtle clue that they genuinely didn't anticipate being gone for long. The family made it clear this was out of character, which really underscores the abruptness of whatever they encountered. When you factor in the discovery location of their truck at Santa Cruz Catholic Church and how methodical Ferry seemed to be with his previous offenses, it makes you wonder. Could the church parking lot have been chosen for a specific reason, maybe to throw off any potential trackers due to its busyness or location? The more I think about it, the more questions I have. What do you all think about this angle? Could there be significance in where the truck was left?
