Has anyone else looked into the details surrounding the abandoned truck of Russell and Catherine? I find it odd that it was left at Santa Cruz Catholic Church with Russell's checkbook still inside. It makes me wonder if they had any connection to that church or if it was just a random location chosen by whoever was involved in their disappearance. No signs of struggle in the truck also seem like a deliberate move to throw off investigators. And what about the fact that the ad for the Ducati might have been a setup? It seems like someone went to great lengths to ensure they left Phoenix that day. Would love to hear any theories or additional info anyone might have uncovered about this specific aspect of the case.

Hey everyone, I’ve been going down the rabbit hole on the Russell and Nelson case from 2002, and something that keeps nagging at me is the red Ford SVT Lightning F-150. ? Has anyone else wondered why it was left at Santa Cruz Catholic Church’s parking lot? It's such an odd location to ditch a vehicle if you're trying to make a clean getaway. Why there of all places? I feel like this spot might have been significant to the perpetrator(s). Maybe it was chosen because it's busier during certain times, and they hoped the truck would blend in with other cars in the lot? ? Also, Russell's checkbook being found in the glove compartment... It almost feels too "convenient" for a robbery motive, as if someone wanted to throw off the investigation. I know Ferry was convicted, but there’s just something about this piece that doesn’t add up in my mind. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
