It's perplexing to me how Kolden's wallet was found in his other car with such personal items like his heirloom wristwatch. I keep thinking about why those items would be left behind if he intended to go away voluntarily. It's almost as if he didn't plan on being gone long enough to need them, or maybe he meant to return. Did he have more than one set of car keys if he left in one vehicle while his wallet was left in another? It seems strange and rather unsettling. Plus, how did he pay for the gas and beer without his wallet? The detail of these items being left behind makes me wonder if something more sinister happened, especially given the seemingly abrupt nature of his disappearance. What are your thoughts on this? Could he have been forced to leave without those possessions, or is there another explanation?
Has anyone else looked into the significance of Kolden's disappearance happening on the anniversary of his fiancée's divorce? It's strange timing, right? If Kolden was so afraid of her ex-husband, maybe there's more to that part of the story. Of course, it's all speculation, but I can't help wondering if this timing played a role somehow or if someone was using it as an opportunity.
Also, his decision to go to the Circle K that night is puzzling to me. If he didn't have his wallet, did he always keep cash stashed somewhere else, like in his truck? Or did someone help him out that evening? Maybe someone has insight into his habits or what might've been on his mind that evening. Would love to hear what others think.
Has anyone looked into the possibility of that mysterious gas and beer purchase? It seems strange to me that Kolden's wallet was left behind, yet he managed to buy those items. Could he have had some cash stashed away in the truck or maybe even on him? Maybe a friend loaned him money that night. I'm curious if any security footage exists from the Circle K store that could shed light on how he paid or if any stranger was with him at the time. It seems like a small detail, but it might help piece together his final movements before he vanished. It's also worth noting that the location of his truck is quite odd. Could someone have driven it there after he was already missing?
