Has anyone looked into the mysterious letters that were sent to Farrer's sister? It seems like a pretty odd piece of this case that could contain some hidden clues. From what I've gathered, these letters could have been sent to scare the family or maybe even steer the investigation in a different direction. The timing is suspicious, considering they were received after his disappearance. Has anyone heard more about the contents of these letters, or if they were ever analyzed for fingerprints or DNA? It just feels like there might be more to that story that hasn't been unearthed yet.

Does anyone else find it odd that William's hat was found upside down in the boat? It's just one of those small details that keep nagging at me. I mean, if it had just fallen off or blown off, wouldn't it likely be floating in the water or maybe found on the shore? But for it to be there, upside down, seems peculiar. It's almost as if someone intentionally placed it that way, which just makes my mind race with what could have happened. Also, considering what happened earlier that year with the attempted robbery, he probably wore it low as a bit of a shield or out of habit—to then just find it casually like that makes me think something sudden must have occurred. Has anyone else looked into how unusual that might be in similar cases? Could it mean he was surprised by someone he knew?
