I've been following Joshua Guimond's case for years, and something that's always struck me as odd is the erased data from his computer. Why would someone go through the trouble of deleting files unless those files held some kind of importance or danger? It makes me wonder if there's a digital component to this mystery that we've overlooked. What if Joshua stumbled across something or someone he shouldn’t have on the internet? These online interactions can be so elusive, and back in 2002, it was much easier to hide behind anonymity. It feels like that missing piece could potentially explain a lot about his disappearance. Just curious if anyone else has thoughts on this angle or any insights into what digital evidence might still be retrievable today with modern technology?

Has anyone else looked into the detail about Joshua's computer? It's so strange to me that someone erased data from it after he went missing. The fact that he was searching for how to make fake IDs is interesting, considering his major in political science. I wonder if he had plans that went south or if someone took advantage of that info for something more sinister. Could there have been someone at the university who knew he was looking into this and saw an opportunity? It just seems like such a specific thing to search for, and then for data to be erased right after he vanished... Thoughts?

Hey everyone, Has anyone else dived into the computer angle in Joshua Guimond's disappearance? I find it really strange that someone erased data from his computer shortly after he went missing. The fact that he was researching how to make fake ID cards adds a puzzling layer to this case. Could it point to him planning something bigger, or was he simply curious? It's frustrating because whoever deleted that info might know more about what he was dealing with or trying to hide. I've seen discussions that suggest he may have met someone online who wasn't who they claimed to be, leading to something nefarious. Was Joshua trying to escape, or did he inadvertently put himself in danger? Just curious if anyone has more insight on this aspect or theories that tie into his online presence.
