Does anyone else find it strange that a kayaker's remains would be found on an island so far from the original site of the incident? I understand the river's currents can be unpredictable and powerful, but it makes me wonder about what really happened that day. How could the jawbone end up so far away, while no other remains have surfaced? Could wildlife have played a part in moving the body, or is there something else we’re missing? It seems odd that only a jawbone was found after all these years of searching. Thoughts?
Has anyone looked into how currents in the McKenzie River might have affected where Sashidharan Chirukandoth's remains could have ended up? I read that his kayak overturned near Partridge Lane, but the jawbone was found all the way near Camp Creek Road. I'm curious if the river's flow patterns could account for this distance. Maybe that could help focus any future searches for more of his remains. Anyone here familiar with the river and what it was like around that time of year?
