Has anyone been following the Shelton Bennett case? I came across a detail that got me really curious about the behavior of Shelton's girlfriend and the other woman around the time he disappeared. The fact that Shelton's car was found with a bloody handprint, but there's no confirmation from law enforcement about foul play, seems strange to me. Could it be possible that these women know more than they're letting on? It's odd that the family noticed their suspicious behavior, yet there's been no public mention of them being questioned or ruled out in any meaningful way. If anyone has more insights or updates on this angle of the case, I'd love to hear them. We all just want to see Shelton come home safe.
Has anyone else noticed how little information there is about Shelton Bennett's car being found? I read that it was abandoned on Butler Road, but there's no update on what kind of searches were conducted in the area. It just seems odd that there’d be a bloody handprint and yet hardly any details about any forensic work or evidence being collected. Why would the car be abandoned there in the first place? It's such a rural area; did anyone in the neighborhood notice anything suspicious? Hoping someone local might have more insight or has noticed an increased police presence or anything that seemed out of the ordinary around that time. Keeping Shelton and his family in my thoughts while hoping for some new leads.
