Hey everyone, It's frustrating to see how the same neighborhoods seem to suffer the most from gun violence, and Devin Gastion's case is another tragic example. What really strikes me is just how persistent this issue has been over the years without significant improvement. I've read that a lot of homicides in Pittsburgh, especially in areas like the North Side, haven’t resulted in arrests or convictions. I can't imagine the pain and the wait for justice that Devin's family and so many others are going through. There's been some talk about community-based initiatives to address these issues, but I wonder how effective they've been or what more could be done locally to support these efforts. These continuous cycles of violence need to be addressed with solutions that truly make a difference. Does anyone know of any programs or success stories in similar areas? I think finding ways to support and push for effective change is something we can all rally around. Devin and other victims deserve that commitment from us.
