Has anyone else wondered about the timing of when Robert Heissenberger's truck was found and when the search began? The last sighting of him was on the 8th, but I've read that it took a couple of days before a real search was launched. I know that area can be pretty remote, but it seems crucial to understand the window when he might have been able to travel far on foot. Given the heat and lack of water, every hour counts in a scenario like that. Did he plan to be gone for a while, or was something else in play that delayed the alarm being raised? I'm curious if anyone local noticed anything unusual during that time, or if anyone remembers seeing his truck before it was officially reported. Just possibilities floating around in my head... ?

Has anyone looked into the possibility of Robert getting disoriented due to the heat on that day? It was unusually hot when he disappeared, and it’s worth considering heat exhaustion or even heat stroke as a factor. Being in a remote area like Lake Mead without water can lead to dehydration super quickly, especially if you're wearing heavy clothing like army fatigues. Did anyone ever report seeing him or anyone else in the area afterward, maybe closer to a shaded spot or along other trails? Sometimes a small detail like that can provide a different angle on what might have happened. Just a thought, but it might be good for us to revisit the weather and terrain conditions at that time to see if they align with any other missing person cases. Maybe there's a pattern that’s being missed!
