Did anyone else here know Delwin "Little Dee" Locklear from around the neighborhood in Maxton back in the day? I've heard a few folks mention he was a pretty social guy and often frequented local spots. From what I've gathered, many people knew about his asthma condition, but it didn't seem to hold him back much from hanging out. It’s bizarre that someone with such a known presence in the community could just vanish without a trace. I get the feeling that there’s more to the local scene that might’ve played a part in what happened. Small towns like Maxton can have their fair share of tight-lipped secrets. I wonder if someone might’ve seen or heard something back then but didn’t realize its importance. Maybe it's worth revisiting some of those local hangouts to see if any old-timers recall something unusual from that time.
