Has anyone else been following the case of Shikeem Frederick? His murder in 2010 becomes even more tragic when you consider how many families were going through the same pain that year in Philadelphia. It's so frustrating and sad that he was part of a demographic so heavily impacted by gun violence. The lack of resolution for so many cases back then must weigh heavily on families and friends who lost loved ones. I can't imagine the feeling of not having answers. Philadelphia was really struggling with crime during that period, and it seems like community efforts to speak up and help police solve these murders were critical, yet complicated by fear and distrust. Does anyone know if there were any developments or any community projects initiated in response to these tragedies to help decrease violence in that area?
