Does anyone know if there was ever any significance or theory behind the black carpet bag Carol was carrying when she disappeared? I find it odd that no personal items of hers have been found over the years. You’d think if she went missing on foot, some trace of her or the bag would have turned up by now. Given her past trauma and her mental health at the time, I wonder if it was a comfort object or if there was something specific inside she didn’t want to be without. Also, her strong accent might have made it difficult for her to ask for help or be understood if she was confused or lost. So many unanswered questions. If anyone has insights, I’d love to hear them.
