I’ve been following Randy Lee Williams Jr.’s case, and something keeps bothering me about that anonymous call the family received. It’s been years, and still, there’s no lead from that tip. Calls like that can be made by pranksters, but considering the details—why hasn't there been more emphasis on tracing its origin? Was it ever thoroughly investigated? Anonymous tips can sometimes be from someone who knows a lot more. I wonder if there were any specific details mentioned in the call beyond just the claim, which could help narrow things down. It’s so frustrating that nothing has come from it. Can anyone familiar with technology or law enforcement share how complex it would have been back then to trace something like this?
Has anyone else been looking into the details of Randy Lee Williams Jr.'s disappearance? I've been trying to connect some dots and there’s something that's been on my mind. The anonymous call his family got a week later is super odd. I mean, why would someone bother to make that call if they didn't want attention on the case? It feels like they wanted the family to believe Randy was dead, but for what purpose? It's been almost two decades, and there still isn't solid evidence pointing to what actually happened to him. Does anyone have any theories on whether the call was just a cruel prank or if it could’ve been someone with actual knowledge of the situation?
