Does anyone have any insights into why Fred’s case might not have involved any foul play, despite his sudden disappearance? It seems odd to me that someone could just disappear without any clues, especially when they have a routine like using public transportation frequently. I used to live near 3rd and H Streets and know it's a busy area—plenty of businesses and people around. It makes you wonder if anyone might have seen him at the bank or on the bus that day but didn’t realize the importance of reporting it. Given his age and health condition, is there a possibility he could’ve just gotten disoriented and ended up somewhere unexpected? It’s frustrating to think a missing person could simply vanish in a bustling neighborhood. Thoughts, anyone?

I was reading up on Fred Masangya's case, and I find myself wondering about his connections or friends from his teaching days back in the Philippines. Could it be possible that someone from his past might shed some light on his sudden disappearance? I know it's a long shot given the distance and time, but maybe there are friends or former colleagues who might have insights or have stayed in touch over the years. Have there been any efforts to reach out internationally to gather more information, or maybe get leads through expat communities here in California? It's interesting how past connections can sometimes unravel mysteries, even when all local options seem exhausted.

Has anyone else been thinking about the routes Fred might have taken using public transportation the day he disappeared? I read that Fred was pretty familiar with the bus system, so it made me wonder if there's a specific route he preferred or if he might have taken an alternative that day. Could the traffic patterns or a change in the bus schedule have influenced his travel? I'm no expert on Chula Vista's public transport, but maybe someone local could weigh in on whether there were route changes around that time in 2005. It might seem minor, but even the smallest detail can sometimes help shed light on what might have happened.
