It's been almost 18 years since Shani Ann Estes vanished, and it seems like there are still so many unanswered questions. One thing that I can't wrap my head around is the timeline of events that night. If Shani and her husband were arguing for hours, wouldn't there have been some noise or commotion that neighbors might have heard? Has anyone looked into whether any neighbors reported anything unusual, like raised voices late at night? It just seems odd that no one nearby heard anything, given the nature of their argument. It's such a mystery how someone can just disappear without leaving any trace, especially when she left behind things like her car and other belongings. Has there been any attempt to retrace her steps or figure out her last known movements before she vanished into thin air?
Has anyone looked into the neighbors' accounts of that night on Emery Avenue? It's been bugging me that we haven't heard much about whether Shani's disappearance caused any disturbances heard by those nearby. Considering how late the argument reportedly went on, you’d think someone might have picked up on something unusual. Maybe someone saw her leaving or saw a car in the area that wasn't usually there. In many cases, even the smallest detail from a neighbor can sometimes open new leads. Wondering if any detectives have spoken out about this angle or if there's been a neighborhood canvass around the time she disappeared. If anyone has info or thoughts on this, please share.
