I’ve been digging through Marvin Duane Witte’s case, specifically around the time he went missing, and something is really sticking out to me that I haven’t seen discussed much yet. Does anyone else find the state of his apartment particularly unusual? I mean, the TV was left on and his cat was unattended for days. It's almost as if he intended to come back home, or he left in a hurry without planning. And what about his car and motorcycle being left behind? For someone contemplating leaving permanently, why wouldn’t they use a vehicle to at least get out of town? It all just seems contradictory to the idea he intended to vanish without a trace. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this aspect!

Did anyone else find it odd that Marvin's pet cat was left unattended in his apartment? Missing persons cases often have these small but significant details that tell you something isn't right. From what I've read, Marvin was known to ensure his pet was cared for, even when he was going through tough times. I remember a case locally where a pet being left behind was a crucial clue that something had gone seriously wrong. I can't help but wonder if it means Marvin intended to come back, but something prevented him. Would he have reached out to anyone to look after his cat if he planned to be gone for a while? Just throwing this out there. Anyone else think the same?

I was discussing Marvin Duane Witte's disappearance with some folks, and something just isn't sitting right with me about his cat being left behind. As a cat owner myself, I know we always hear that people with pets tend to make arrangements if they're going to be away for a while. Marvin seemed to care about his cat, so I'm puzzled about his absence without any provisions for the pet. Could it suggest that he left suddenly or intended to return quickly? It feels like a small detail that might shed light on what happened in those crucial days before Christmas. Has anyone else thought about this angle or have any ideas on what it might mean?
