What I am confused about is his belongings were left at home. His wallet, coat, and truck were left behind. Normally a person in the very least leaves with his wallet. It was also January in Georgia. He didn't take a coat? This all sounds so suspicious.

Hi everyone,
I've been following Roy Vavra's case for a while, and something that's been bothering me is the convenience store sighting. Roy was last seen leaving with another man in that small white pickup. Does anyone know if there were any security cameras at that store back in 2006? I haven't found any mention of video footage being used in the investigation. It seems crucial given that it was the last confirmed sighting of Roy. I know technology wasn't as advanced back then, but even grainy footage could've provided more clues about this mystery man or even captured the license plate of the truck. Would love to hear if anyone else has any insights on this part of the case or if there's been any conversation around it.
Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Roy George Vavra case from Gillette, Wyoming, and something about the convenience store sighting keeps bothering me. It just seems odd that he was last seen with an unidentified man at that spot. I mean, why that location, and who was this guy? Does anyone else find it strange that this mystery man and his white pickup truck have never been identified or come forward? It seems like such a small detail, but could it be the key to understanding what happened to Roy? Maybe someone local might remember seeing something odd that day or can shed light on who this man could have been. Any thoughts or theories on this?
Does anyone have more details on the convenience store sighting of Roy Vavra? I find it so chilling that he was seen leaving with an unknown guy, and then just vanished. The description of the man and the truck is pretty vague, but has there been any follow-up on that lead over the years? Was the store's CCTV checked, or maybe the area around Highway 50 and Force Road - did they find anything unusual? It seems strange that someone could just disappear like that, especially since his belongings were all left behind. I hope someone remembers something that could help solve this mystery.
