I can't stop thinking about Patrick's bicycle. The FS-Elite Convertible Cruiser with the wire basket seems like it should be pretty distinctive and memorable, especially in a smaller community like Cave Junction. Anyone with knowledge of local bike shops or repair places thinks it's possible someone might have seen it? Given that it hasn't turned up, it makes me wonder if it was either stolen or hidden away somewhere. It feels like there might be a lead there, even after all these years. A unique bike isn't something most people would just abandon, especially if they relied on it for transportation around town. Perhaps someone in the area saw Patrick that day or has insight into where the bike might have ended up. Thoughts?
Has anyone else looked into the significance of the tribal design tattoos in Patrick Mahurin's case? Tattoos can sometimes tell a story or have personal meaning, and I've been wondering if they could offer any clues about his state of mind or where he might have gone. The keyboard tattoo, of course, ties into his love for music, but the black flames make me curious about their choice. Could they represent something more personal or even hint at a mental struggle, considering his bipolar disorder? It might be a long shot, but in other cases, understanding these personal symbols has sometimes led to new insights. Just throwing it out there in case someone knows more or has thoughts on this angle!
Has anyone been following Patrick Mahurin's case? Something that keeps puzzling me is the fact that he didn't take any of his beloved keyboards with him when he disappeared. It's well-known that he always had one with him, almost like it was part of his identity. It makes me wonder if he intended to return after cooling off from the argument or if he underestimated the seriousness of his situation. Also, it seems strange he left his government checks uncollected—it's not like him based on what I've read. Is it possible he planned to return but then something unexpected happened? The fact that nothing has turned up, especially with such distinctive tattoos, makes it even more baffling. What are everyone's thoughts on how his bipolar disorder could have played into his disappearance?
