Hey everyone, I was doing some reading about Byron Augustus Freeman's case, and something that stood out to me is the fact that his rental car was a gray Lincoln Town Car. It seems pretty distinctive! I wonder if anyone driving along U.S. Highway 79 around that time remembered seeing it abandoned. Given it ran out of gas, I'm curious if any local residents or gas station attendants between Franklin and nearby towns might recall seeing Byron or if he might have approached someone for help. Do any locals from that area remember if there was anything unusual going on around June 24, 2006, that might've sparked their attention? Hoping someone out there noticed something that might finally help bring some answers to his family!

Has anyone looked into the timeline details on Byron Freeman's rental car? It's odd how he ended up stranded on Highway 79. I wonder if there have been any reviews on the car itself or the rental company for any issues that might explain why he would leave it behind aside from the obvious gas shortage. Given his medical condition, maybe something else malfunctioned, causing more confusion for him. Curious if anyone has come across similar cases where the vehicle played a part in someone going missing. It feels like anything that would have affected his state of mind that day should be given more attention. Thoughts?
