Byron Augustus Freeman, a 70-year-old man, has been missing since June 24, 2006, from Palestine, Texas. Freeman had traveled from Los Angeles, California, to attend a class reunion in Palestine. He was last seen on U.S. Highway 79 in Franklin, Texas, walking away from his rental car, a gray Lincoln Town Car, which was later found abandoned after it had run out of gas. Despite extensive search efforts, Freeman has not been heard from since.
