Has anyone else been following the progress (or lack thereof) in the investigation into Timothy Harris's murder? It's just so frustrating to see another young life lost with no apparent leads. It's been over a decade now, and I can't help but feel for his family and friends who must still be waiting for answers. I read somewhere that the crime took place in the Fineview neighborhood, which had its share of issues back then. Does anyone remember if they ever increased patrols or did anything to improve safety in that area after this happened? It's alarming how these cases can sometimes just fade away with no resolution. If anyone has more insights or news about what's been happening in that neighborhood recently, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
I've been following Timothy Harris's case, and I find myself thinking a lot about the community where it happened. It's unsettling to know that the Fineview neighborhood on the North Side, despite being part of a city like Pittsburgh with so much history and culture, is still grappling with such violence. The fact that Timothy's killer has yet to be apprehended is really concerning.
I wonder if the area itself feels abandoned or neglected in terms of resources and attention from law enforcement? Are there community programs or initiatives active in trying to curb this violence? It's just tragic knowing that families have had to deal with such loss, and even more so when justice seems out of reach. I'm hoping there's more focus on preventing these tragedies so that other families won't have to endure similar pain. If anyone knows more about community efforts or ways people have been working together to make the neighborhood safer, I'd love to hear about it. It's so important for communities to heal and move forward after such loss.
