I've always wondered about the lack of security footage or eyewitnesses on the Blanchette Bridge that night. I mean, it seems like such a busy area with traffic, even in the early hours. Has anyone ever heard if there were any reported car accidents around that time from other drivers who might have witnessed something? Plus, given that David was involved in a police chase, you'd think there would be more attention on that stretch of the bridge. What are the chances someone saw him on foot but didn't report it thinking it was just part of the chase drama? And with all the other bridges and roads nearby, it just seems like there might be untapped leads. Anyone else curious about this angle? ?
I came across the case of David Douglas Potts II and I'm curious about a specific detail that hasn't been discussed much: Did anyone ever look into the Ford Contour he was driving? I'm wondering if any traces or evidence were left behind in the car that could offer some clues. Was there anything noteworthy found during the investigation or was it just treated as an ordinary vehicle crash? Given that it belonged to a friend, did they manage to get any useful information from the owner? It's an interesting angle, considering how significant the vehicle is to the timeline of the disappearance. Anyone have any insights or additional info on this?
Has anyone else found the tattoo situation in David's case intriguing? I mean, a Confederate flag with "rise again" and a skull and crossbones on his back? Tattoos can tell you a lot about a person or at least hint at some of their views and mindset. Maybe they reflect who he was hanging out with, his state of mind, or what he might have been planning. It's possible they were just artistic choices, but I wonder if they had any significance regarding his disappearance. Did he have any connections to groups or people that could shed light on this aspect? Or could the tattoos hold some hidden meaning related to his desire for change? Would love to hear your thoughts or any insights you might have on this part of the case.
