David Douglas Potts II, a 21-year-old from Florissant, Missouri, was last seen on October 29, 2006. The night of his disappearance, Potts was involved in a high-speed police chase with the St. Ann Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Potts was driving a friend's gray Ford Contour, as he believed his friend was too intoxicated to drive. During the pursuit, Potts lost control of the vehicle and crashed on the Blanchette Bridge, which spans Interstate 70 in Missouri.
