Has anyone looked into the possibility that Ida might have assumed a new identity? Considering the challenges she faced — turbulent marriage, health issues, and the heartbreaking loss of her children — it's not out of the realm of possibility that she would choose to start over. There was a lot of stigma around marital problems and illnesses back in the '50s, and she might have felt a fresh start was her only option. I know getting records from that era can be a nightmare, but it would be interesting to see if any women with similar characteristics appeared in neighboring states during that time. It's a long shot, but stranger things have happened. What do you all think?
Does anyone else find the timing of Ida's disappearance really suspicious? She was supposed to be getting her kids back the day after she vanished, and suddenly she's gone? I can't help but wonder if someone didn't want her to regain custody. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it really doesn't sit right with me. Also, the fact that her kids got separated and put up for adoption so quickly afterward raises even more questions for me. Why wouldn't the state have waited a bit longer to see if she turned up? It seems like there might be more going on behind the scenes that hasn't been uncovered yet. Any thoughts?
I’ve been diving deep into Ida Dean Anderson’s case, and one thing that keeps gnawing at me is the timing of her disappearance. She vanished literally the day before she was supposed to get her kids back—what are the odds? It’s so curious that her family already had plane tickets for her and the kids to head to Florida too. I mean, the stars really had to align for all this to play out the way it did. ?
What puzzles me even more is whether someone might have known about these arrangements and could have had a motive to prevent her from leaving town. It’s odd there’s not even a hospital record of her after she went missing, especially since she was dealing with serious health issues like rheumatic fever. Could someone close to her have orchestrated her disappearance at that time to keep her from gaining custody? It just makes you wonder if an outside force was at play here beyond just a tragic disappearance...
