Was anyone else intrigued by the reports of those strange tire tracks found near the campsite? I’ve been going down a bit of a rabbit hole about it. Some sources mention these tracks as being a clue that wasn’t followed up thoroughly. I keep wondering if they could’ve belonged to someone who wasn’t part of the camp or known to the family. It might’ve been nothing, but in such mysterious disappearances, every small detail seems crucial. Could it have been a vehicle that took Daniel away or just a random passerby unrelated to the case? Anyone else have thoughts on this detail or know if it was ever officially dismissed by investigators?

I've been reading about the Daniel Barter disappearance for a while now, and something that puzzles me is the area where he vanished. Perdido Bay is surrounded by dense woods, and I wonder if it played a bigger role in the lack of evidence more than we think. The trees and the terrain could've possibly hindered search efforts back then—less technology, fewer resources. Could Daniel have wandered deeper into the woods and not been found simply because the search wasn't thorough enough due to the limitations of that time? Also, I wonder if anyone's ever considered how the natural environment might have changed over the decades, covering any potential clues. It's sad to think that answers might be out there, buried under decades of natural growth. Would love to know if any search efforts have been revisited with modern tech. Thoughts?
