Did anyone else find it odd that Jamie's older brother didn't hear or see anything when Jamie went missing? I mean, he just went inside for a moment, and when he came back, the swing was moving, but Jamie was gone? It seems like something would catch his attention if someone took Jamie, especially in a quiet area like Kings Beach. I can't imagine the guilt he must have carried over the years, thinking if he could have done something different. But it keeps nagging me—why didn’t he notice anything? Could it have been someone familiar to the family, someone who could quietly approach without raising an alarm? Just speculating here, but I feel like something doesn’t quite sit right with how quietly and quickly everything seemed to happen.
Has anyone looked closely into the theory about Jamie possibly being taken by someone who wanted to raise him? I’ve always found it curious that there were never any solid leads supporting this, yet it still lingers as a possibility. Considering the lack of any physical evidence pointing to him wandering off and the extensive search that followed, it seems plausible. Also, given the area’s history in the 60s, it wouldn’t be surprising if a local or someone familiar with the terrain and the summer cabin routines might have had their eye on an opportunity. I wonder if anyone in the nearby communities noticed anything unusual around that time or if there were similar cases of interest. It feels like someone out there must know more—hoping for more discussion or ideas that we can all explore. Thoughts?
I wanted to bring up the age-progression images of Jamie Bordenkircher that were released some years ago. Given the technology available now, I wonder if it would be worth revisiting these to see if more refined images or even AI-assisted reconstructions could be produced. There's been a lot of advancement in this field, and these images could potentially trigger someone's memory or even provide a clue that hasn't been considered yet. Does anyone know if the family or authorities have looked into updating these with the latest tech? I feel like any small improvement could be crucial in such an old case. Curious to hear thoughts or if anyone has experience with similar cases benefiting from updated imaging techniques!
