It's clear that gun violence and high crime rates can’t be tackled overnight, but I've read about some grassroots organizations making a difference in Philly neighborhoods. Has anyone here had experiences with local groups aiming to reduce violence or provide youth programs in areas like this? Maybe spotlighting and supporting these efforts could be a step towards change, not just for John’s case, but for broader issues faced by communities like Hunting Park. Every bit of support helps, and it would be incredible to see more positive stories emerging from areas that have been hit hard by crime. Thoughts or insights, anyone?
