Does anyone else find it eerie how Janice Pockett's bike was found so close to home, yet there wasn't a single trace of her anywhere? I mean, a mile is not that far for a 7-year-old on a bike, especially in a rural area like Tolland. What puzzles me is how there could be no witnesses at all since it was the middle of the day. Someone must have seen something, right? Or maybe they didn't realize it was important at the time. It's such a small detail, but that mile between her home and where the bike was left feels like a huge gap in the story. Could it be possible that someone familiar with her routine took advantage of it? I've always hoped that people revisiting areas with fresh pairs of eyes might notice something that wasn’t obvious back then. Here's hoping one day we get some answers.
