Janice Pockett, a 7-year-old girl from Tolland, Connecticut, was last seen on July 26, 1973. She left her home on her bike to retrieve a butterfly she had left under a rock but never returned. Her bicycle was found abandoned on Rhodes Road, just a mile from her home, but despite extensive searches, no further trace of her has ever been found.
