I've been following Christina Lynn Carter's case, and something that always struck me is the eerie setting of where Janet's body was found. Clingman’s Dome is such a remote, dense area. I wonder how familiar the suspect was with that location to choose it for disposing of Janet's body. It's possible they knew the area well enough to believe she wouldn't be found for a long time—or maybe they thought they could hide other evidence there. This makes me question if the married man Janet was involved with had any connection to the Smokies. Has anyone else considered that angle? Clues might be found by looking into who had ties to that area back in '73. It’s a long shot, but every detail could help piece together what happened to Janet and maybe even where Christina is.
