Christina Lynn Carter, a 3-year-old girl from Hueytown, Alabama, was last seen on September 17, 1973. Christina and her mother, Janet Carter, disappeared during a custody battle between Janet and Christina's father. Janet had mentioned plans to take Christina to the Great Smoky Mountains with a married man she was seeing at the time.
