I've been following the Mario Alvarez case, and it just gets to me every time I think about how many layers there are to it. I was pondering over the kind of person it takes to come back after an argument and actually pull something like this off. The situation is so chilling. It’s like, Mario was just fixing a bike, minding his own business after trying to help someone out earlier. The person who did this was definitely not acting on a whim, considering they came back with backup. That just shows some level of premeditation and anger, which is scary to think about.
What's even more gut-wrenching is how witnesses have described the car and the person involved, and yet it's like the perpetrators just vanished into thin air. With those chrome spoke rims being pretty unique, you'd think someone somewhere would have seen that car around. I sincerely hope that with the consistent efforts by the police and the attention we're bringing to the case, someone new might finally speak up. Mario and his family deserve answers, and it's high time this cold case gets thawed.
