I find it curious that Jay was carrying a suitcase and a wool blanket when he was last spotted in Gardena. A wool blanket seems like an unusual item for a guy his age to carry around, especially if you're traveling to California where the weather is pretty mild. Makes me wonder if he was planning to sleep outside or was maybe planning a longer journey. Could this suggest he was intending to go somewhere specific after the argument with Kellogg? Did he have a plan to meet someone else? Hoping someone with more info about those last few days might chime in. It might just be a small detail, but sometimes focusing on those can lead to new insights. What do you all think about this?
