I recently came across Kimberly Ann Stewart's case from 1977, and one detail that's got me thinking is the abandoned car. The fact that her gray 1975 Chevrolet Vega was just left there on Highway 65 is strange to me. The keys were still in the ignition, and her checkbook was inside—who leaves their car like that if they're planning to skip town or run off with someone? It feels staged, like someone wanted it to look like she left on her own. Plus, the timing seems really odd that her estranged husband and his brother were the ones who "found" her car... It's worth noting that Kimberly was in a rocky relationship with him. I can't help but wonder if that argument at the pizza place could have anything to do with it. Anyone else have thoughts on the significance of the car being found like this?
