Has anyone considered the possibility that Frank Santmyer Jr. went into hiding or witness protection? His disappearance happening right after being arrested with that amount of cocaine sounds like it could potentially involve more than just a robbery gone wrong, especially if there were bigger players involved in the drug scene back then. The fact that his remains were never found and nobody has been charged makes me wonder if there's more to the story than just a tragic ending. Also, does anyone know if authorities ever looked into connections between the people who were arrested with him and any other major drug cases around that time? Maybe someone out there knows something about his associates or what might have been going on in his life back then.
I’ve been digging into Frank Santmyer Jr.’s case, and something just doesn't add up about the robbery theory. If he was indeed involved in a shootout, where are the witnesses or any reports of gunfire from that time? It was 1977, yes, but a shootout isn't something that goes unnoticed, even back then. Also, has anyone found it odd that none of his personal items—like the turquoise bracelet, ring, or Timex watch—have surfaced? Those seem like pieces that wouldn’t just vanish unless someone was trying to keep them hidden or sold them discreetly. Anyone here have thoughts on where this might lead? Maybe someone out there still remembers seeing these distinctive items or hearing something back in the day.
I recently came across the case of Frank Ray Santmyer Jr. while researching cold cases, and something about his disappearance struck me—particularly the jewelry he was wearing. It's so specific: a turquoise bracelet and ring, alongside a silver Timex watch. It makes me wonder, did these unique items ever show up anywhere? You'd think they might've surfaced at a pawn shop or been seen with someone else. Has anyone come across any leads concerning this? Jewelry thefts, pawning, or even sightings of similar items during that time? Maybe this could be a small thread that leads to more information about what happened. Frank’s case is puzzling, and I feel like every detail, no matter how small, could hold the key to solving it.
