Does anyone know more about the weather conditions around Grangeville during late April 1978? I came across Franklin David Harder’s case and noticed that poor weather was a major factor in delaying the search. It got me thinking about how those initial days are so crucial in missing person cases. If anyone has info on what the conditions were like back then, it might provide some insight into why the search efforts had such a hard time gaining traction. Who knows, maybe understanding more about the environment could spark new theories or ideas.
Has anyone looked into the role the harsh weather might have played in Franklin's disappearance? From what I understand, the conditions around the time he went missing were far from favorable. It makes me wonder how much of a hindrance the weather was, not just to the search efforts but possibly to Franklin himself. It's chilling to think about how quickly someone could get into trouble out there in the elements, especially if he was alone. I’d love to hear any thoughts or insights about how the climate in that area around late April might have impacted things. Could it have contributed more significantly to his case than initially thought?
